By the Sea Therapy respects our relationship with our clients. The law protects this relationship and information related to therapy sessions cannot be disclosed to anybody. The only exceptions to this rule are as follows:
Suspected child abuse or elder abuse
Danger to self or others
Court ordered information
By the Sea Therapy is committed to our clients confidentiality. Our concern lies in the disclosure and diagnosis requirements of insurance companies relating to mental health issues. The diagnosis is required by a third party for claims purposes. Clients privacy is integral to our practice and such disclosures would remain on our clients third party records indefinitely. If you need to use insurance, forms for claims can be provided.
